Capitanate dalla polistrumentista Serra Petale alla chitarra solista, le LOS BITCHOS hanno base a Londra ma arrivano dall’Uruguay, dall’Australia e dalla Svezia.
Dopo aver condiviso i singoli “Pista (Great Start)” e “The Link Is About To Die“, la band arriva in Italia con il loro debut album prodotto Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand).
Attingendo all’eredità della cumbia colombiana e panamense degli anni ’70 e ’80, le Los Bitchos creano un’atmosfera di festa psichedelica. I loro spettacoli dal vivo hanno suscitato un’ondata di clamore in tutta Londra attirando l’attenzione di Alex Kapranos dei Franz Ferdinand.
In tour insieme a Mac De Marco, Ty Segall, Viagra Boys, Bill Ryder Jones, Dry Cleaning, Kikagaku Moyo e Methyl Ethel, la band, si è esibita anche al The Great Escape, All Points East, Test Pressing e Simple Things Festival.
“Pista (Great Start)”, questo il titolo del loro primo singolo, è stato prodotto da Alex Kapranos ed è stato accolto con entusiasmo da KEXP, NME, BBC 6 Music.
Il secondo brano condiviso, “The Link Is About To Die” è stato presentato in anteprima su NME e ha ottenuto una live session su KEXP che ha superato 1 milione di views.
